Sunshine Nursery Alum Rock

Nursery and Out of School Clubs

This nursery is within Saltley Adult Learning center premises. The nursery itself has been purposefully built. This gives children the freedom to freely flow from their designated rooms to outdoors and back, giving them independence and ability to choose own activities. There are three age groups – babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. The ratios are always maintained to ensure safety of all the children – 1:3 (babies), 1:4 (toddlers), 1:8 (pre-school). Large and full of light rooms provide children with comfortable and cosy environment to play and learn in. Our qualified staff provide stimulating activities to support children’s curiosity and development across 7 areas of EYFS.

More Information

The outdoor area has covered and uncovered areas – this allows children to go outside in all weathers and stay active. There is a variety of climbing equipment where children can develop their physical skills. Healthy snacks of fruit and vegetables are served every day and children have access to milk and water throughout the day and at meal times.

The nursery provides flexible childcare sessions – mornings, afternoons, full days as well as regular or ad hoc hourly bookings. We also can provide specific contracts for parents who work on a shift pattern, rolling rota or term time. NHS, Emergency services and sibling discounts are available.
